Some changes to Avenue7

Hello Avenue7 Designers!

You may have noticed some new features around the site today. We’re very excited about these new features and we hope you are too. Something else may have caught your attention: These new features require you to subscribe to Avenue7 in order for you to use them.

While we would love to keep Avenue7 free forever, it unfortunately costs us money to run the site, and rather than remove any features from you, our loyal users, we decided to add some new ones for those who want to pay for them. That way everyone can still have a great experience.

I hope you guys can understand where we're coming from, and continue to support us on this journey together.

What don’t we kick things off with you telling us about yourself?
Hi, I'm Bianca. Im 15 years old and I live in the U.S. In the future I would like to become a Fashion Designer, Singer, or an Actress.

How would you describe your sense of style?
My sense of style..well, It changes everyday. I like to be different and unique when it comes to clothes I wear by mixing and matching, but making sure I don't go too crazy.

Tell us a little about what you use Avenue7 for and why?
I just love putting outfits together, making them unique. I also like seeing other Avenue7 users creations because they give me great ideas and help me become a better designer.

Tell us how you go about creating an outfit? Where do you get your inspiration from?
Well first I start off by choosing a model (pic) and go by the picture. Or I just start mixing and matching and see what looks good together.



What are your 3 favourites outfits on Avenue7 and why?
B: I just love how she made everything go with the picture. It's Beautiful.

What fashion trends are cool where you live now?
Well What I see alot is Jean shorts, simple shirt, with denim jacket. Verryy cute!

How did you come up with the name for your Fashion Label?
Well I came up with "Io sono bellissima" which means "I'm very beautiful" in Italian. Everybody is beautiful in their own way.

Any suggestions for things you would like to see on Avenue7 and shout outs to people?
I'd really like to see us, Avenue7 users, to design our own clothing. Seems very interesting. I'd like to give a shout-out to all my avenue7 friends who have
commented,liked, or faved my outfits. It really means alot to me. I would also like to thank Avenue7 for everything they do! You guys are the best!

What don’t we kick things off with you telling us about yourself?
My real name is sakinadenia! I was 13 years old and live in indonesia! Aaaand i was a 8th grade student in the best school in bandung, indonesia. ;)

How would you describe your sense of style?
My style, well, i hope you and i always think my style on my outfit is ALWAYS FRESH! So, i named my label : Fre$hirt! ;)

Tell us a little about what you use Avenue7 for and why?
I think i just have one reason why i use av7 : FOR DEVELOP MY FASHION SKILL!

Tell us how you go about creating an outfit? Where do you get your inspiration from?
Actually, i was just mixing and matching all variety of clothing in av7, and TADAA! There was a fresh outfit! I have many inspiration, from friends, streets, shops, and all of my friends in av7!

What are your 3 favourite outfits on Avenue7 and why?
Ow yeaah, there are too much to tell. So, can i mention all of them? There are : All of pote's, all of VintageD's, aaand all of Kylaaa's!

What fashion trends are cool where you live now?
Wooow, too much to tell again! It was high rise skirt, denim jacket, burberry bag, sneakers, colorful wedges, and high rise jeans!

How did you come up with the name for your Fashion Label?
That was my own idea. I got that idea because i always hope my outfit it was fresh like the bakery from the oven! So, I named it FRE$HIRT! ;)

Any suggestions for things you would like to see on Avenue7 and shout outs to people?
Yeah, i wish there are an ERASER on Av7 design page. So, we can cut the dress or erase the hangers! ;)

What is your favourite book? (This question was asked by last week’s featured user Mary)
I like all of jacqueline wilson book, because i think it was a cool story and fantastic!

New Feature: Widgets and Sharing Outfits

We've made a couple of new improvements that allows you to share your outfits more easily with your friends.

Firstly, we've added a bunch of buttons (see below) thats allows you to share an outfit through Facebook, Twitter, Myspace or email. For those of you who blog, you can also embed outfits more easily by simply copying the code.



Secondly, we've added a bunch of badges which you can add to your blog as well as a scroller which showcases all of your outfits.



So, help us spread the Avenue7 word by pasting a badge on your blog! :)
