The Sex Pistols may have been and gone but their influence on fashion and music still goes on which is shown by this super outfit above. The grungy look has been popular for a long time so here are my thoughts on how to wear it....
1. If you don't want to look like a full on goth please refrain from slapping on too much black eyeliner. Personally I think Taylor Momsen wears waaaaay too much. A soft smokey eye would be better.
2. This outfit shows perfectly how to capture the dressed up rocky look. Alternatively if you want to cover your legs why not wear some black distressed jeans, a sheer black top and a studded cuff. I love the top below because its edgy but feminine.
3. A great way to incorporate a new trend in an outfit is to accessorize. I like the festival bag by Marc B because its a take on the Chanel quilted bags and its been updated with the studs.
4. Fourth and finally, why not wear a rocky t-shirt with a feminine skirt?
