German fashion addict

Let us start by talking a bit about you. Who are you are you and where do you come from?
Hi there,
My name is Christine and I come from Germany. A couple of weeks ago I did a student exchange with my class and I stayed in this very nice host family. I immediately made friends with their daughter Kate. It felt like we are just the same. We both adore fashion! She was the one who told me about Avenue7 and I just love it!
Tell us why you love fashion and where you get your inspiration from.
Why do I love fashion? Phew... I just do. Buying clothes and jewellery is one of the best things in the world. And I think you can express who you are through fashion. I think my friends always know in which mood I am just by looking at the clothes I am wearing.
I am not sure where I get my inspiration from. Of course I flip through the pages of fashion magazines occasionally, but usually I just walk through the stores and buy whatever I like – and that are really a lot of different things and styles.

What is your favourite brand and where do you like to go shopping?
Well… I think it is very difficult to say, which one is my favourite, as there are so many!
As I am only a student I cannot afford the more expensive brands but I love to go shopping at Zara, Vero Moda as well as in small individual shops in Cologne. My two favourite shops in Cologne are called “Chocolina” and “Salon Sahnestück”. They have just so many great things and the nicest scarves I have ever seen.
How would you describe your sense of style?
I LOVE scarves and jewellery. These are the things you do not really need but are just SO good to have. And in my opinion scarves and jewellery are what complements every outfit. An outfit might be great but with the perfect accessories it is just adorable!!!
If I am short of money I usually manage to pass the apparel shops but I almost never manage to pass my favourite jewellery shop Konplott or shops with scarves without going inside. BTW, I was very surprised that they do not have Konplott in the UK.
